Service Application Deadlines

Typically the district sets a February 1st deadline for guaranteed services. In recent years, this deadline has been watched closely and changed for a number of reasons including high workload due to overwhelming conversion requests, material delays and the 2007 ice storm.

For 2008, Southern will not be accepting applications after the February 1st deadline. The district's workforce is heavily involved with a number of construction projects and completing services submitted after the deadline will not be feasible. We are committed to completing those services that were submitted prior to the deadline.

If you are thinking about requesting a service to be added in 2009, be watchful of the deadlines and changes that may occur and consider submitting your application as soon as possible. Watch this website for updates about application deadlines.
