Message of Electrical Safety is Spreading!

The past few months have been very busy for Southern’s Safety Director Darrel Schmidt and Linemen from across the District, as they work to help share the importance of electrical safety. Whether you are at work or play, there are always dangers you need to be aware of with power lines.

Our linemen have provided hotline demonstrations for years and tailor their presentations to a wide range of audiences. Presentations have been provided at community events (fairs, parades, etc), schools, and in the workplace.

If you are interested in learning more about the Hotline Trailer Demonstrations, or would like to schedule one for a public event, please contact Darrel Schmidt or LeAnne Doose at Southern Power District.
