New Online Survey to be Held Through February

Because we learned so much from our first online survey, we are conducting a new survey. But this time, we’ll be tackling a different topic.

Southern Power District has provided customer appreciation open houses for about ten years. These events provide for us a great opportunity to connect face-to-face with customers, and are an ideal setting to provide you with useful information pertaining to your electric service. Some examples of information we provide at open houses include electric safety demonstrations, MarathonTM water heater information, and energy efficiency updates. In 2007, we used our open houses as an opportunity to share with you what we felt the outlook for rates would be in coming years, and answered your questions about compact fluorescent lamps. And of course, we do enjoy bucket truck rides!

We would like some input from you about these events. Are they useful to you? Are there new things you would like to see? Maybe you are interested in seeing more "informational" style meetings from time to time. We want to know what you think of these events and what will keep you coming back to them in future years.

Your input is very much appreciated on this topic, and we encourage you to share your thoughts. It will help us to tailor open houses or meetings to be valuable to you! Log on today to take the survey.
