Recipe Box: Easy Crock Pot Roast
Pour a half of a can of chicken stock in the bottom of a large crockpot. Place a 4-5 pound frozen roast in the crockpot.
Pour the remaining half of the can of chicken stock in a bowl and mix in a can of cream of chicken soup. Mix well and pour over the roast.
Sprinkle a package of dried onion soup mix over the roast. Cover and cook on High for 8-9 hours.
NOTE: Chuck roast works best but this recipe can be used for any beef or pork roast. You can substitute beef stock and cream of mushroom soup if you’d like. BIG THANKS to Anna Dobish for submitting this recipe!
