Refrigerator Recycling Program is Back!
Chances are, that old
working refrigerator or
freezer in your garage or
basement is running up your
electric bill. That’s because
it can use three times as
much energy as a newer one.
But there is an easy solution:
have your older appliance picked
up for free, and you’ll pick up $35 in
cold cash when you recycle it. Here are
some of the details:
- Recycling program runs from late
spring to early fall.
- Only a limited number of pickups
available, so act now.
- Program is available to residential customers
only.
- Refrigerators and/or freezers are both
accepted.
- Must be a working, secondary appliance.
- A $35 cash incentive will be paid for
each appliance (up to two per household).
- Convenient at-home pick up.
- Recycling performed by JACO
Environmental.
- This program enables you to save
money and help the environment.
