How to Report an Outage
Southern Power District has a full-time staff that answer calls Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. After hours, a call center takes over. In the event of a major storm, Southern may continue to use its call center to answer outage calls. The call center is equipped with multiple lines and has the ability to handle many more calls than we can at our headquarters. We know you would rather talk to someone who lives close by. We feel it is also important for your call to be answered as soon as possible. The call center can dispatch calls to all area offices, and know who to contact to relay your important information.
