How will I know when my power is back on?

This question may seem silly at first glance, but during the 2007 ice storm, we noticed this was a common question for those who were using generators. It is difficult to determine if your electricity is coming from the generator or if your power has come back on. Here is a tip...if you have a security light installed on your yard, you will know the power is back on when that light comes on at night.
